The bitcontrol® Recording Center receives and processes the video data from
a Set Top Box. Following functions can be performed with the bitcontrol® Recording Center:
- Record TV on the PC
Connect your Set Top Box with your PC using your computer network and record any
tv show on your pc with the bitcontrol® Recording Center. The recorded tv shows can be stored in their
original format (MPEG-2) or be transcoded to a higher compressed format (WMV - Windows Media Format).
- Control recordings over the internet
Connect to your bitcontrol® Recording Center over the internet
and schedule your tv show recordings using the EPG (Electronic Program Guide).
- Play tv shows from PC on the TV
With the bitcontrol® Recording Center recorded TV shows can be
displayed from the PC through the Set Top Box on the TV.
- Stream TV shows through the internet
With the bitcontrol® Recording Center and
bitcontrol® World Wide TV recorded tv shows can be streamed through
the internet and be watched on any Windows Media Player over the world.
- In progress: Burn tv shows to DVD
With the bitcontrol® Recording Center recorded TV shows can be
transformed into the DVD format and then be burned to DVD using a suitable burning software.
