有了 bitcontrol® Digital
TV Link，Set Top Box 就不能自己控制了。转换电视频道要使用一个输入了 Set Top Box 目标地址的
Internet 浏览器。bitcontrol® Digital TV Link 在此转换后自动连接到一个新的频道。所有的这些仅仅在几秒钟。
通过一个附加的操作 bitcontrol®
Digital TV Link 可以作为多点传送器被启动。有了这个特性就可以使得在同一个网络里更多用户同时收看一个频道节目。这些附加出来的观看者所看到的电视信号不是来自
Dreambox，而是来自 bitcontrol® Digital TV Link 的多点传输功能。这样的功能特性非常适合于那些要把视频数据流继续传送出去的多媒体服务器。
